As a Senior Grade Three student, I am very busy in preparing for the college entrance examination. I have even classes a day, and two self-study classes at night. And only a day left for the weekend. So, most of the time I have to spend on the study, after all the college entrance examination is very important for almost all of us. Aside of study, I would play football with my friends after school and the weekend. I like playing football very much. When I run on the football field, I can put the examination thing off my mind for a while, only sweat and laugh left. It is a good exercise for health and a good way to relax from the busy study too. In my recollection, my high school years were filled with joy and good luck, thanks to my wonderful friends and teachers. They were like sunshine in my life. I met my best friend in the first year of senior high. She was a girl with long legs, fair skin, and a small face. What left a deep impression on me was her broad shoulders, which were wider than those of other girls of the same height. She was very kind to me, treating me like a sister. Although I didn’t live in the dormitory while she did, I often slept with her at noon. Sometimes we had disagreements, but we both reflected on our mistakes and quickly made up. She was divorced, yet she was strong and lived a happy life with her daughter. I admire people with strong hearts; perhaps this is because I want to be someone who is always optimistic and hard to defeat. She embodies this quality. The memories of high school are precious in my life. It is my fortune to have met them, my sunshine.

All in all, high school life is both hectic and rewarding, largely because we are striving toward one major target: the College Entrance Examination. Some folks claim that enjoyment is gone, leaving only dull studying and endless practice. Yet, as a student myself, I can’t agree with such views. In my eyes, my high school years are productive and joyful. It’s true that academics are my main focus, requiring most of my time and energy. Even though studying can sometimes be frustrating or overwhelming, I always manage to regulate my emotions and savor life. Moreover, doing well or making progress in my work gives me a strong sense of accomplishment. Most importantly, my friends bring me lots of joy, and my parents’ support encourages me to keep moving forward. I believe these school friends will remain my closest companions forever, since they understand me well and have witnessed all my ups and downs. They are the ones who grow alongside me. Besides, our teachers care deeply about us students, both in our learning and daily lives, while classmates are always kind to one another. We form deep bonds together. All these elements create the rich high school experience I will always treasure.
