Last summer vacation, I traveled to three cities: Beijing, Dalian, and Hulunbuir. I have visited Beijing over eight times, so I know it very well. As China’s capital, Beijing is a large, modern metropolis filled with towering skyscrapers. The flight from Nantong takes one hour and forty minutes. During my stay, my family and I toured famous spots like the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, the Palace Museum, Beihai Park, and the Space Museum. I also enjoyed boating and fishing in the Beijing countryside, which was quite fun. In Wangfujing, I bought many souvenirs and treats. I really love the local snacks, especially the famous Beijing Duck, which is absolutely delicious. Dalian is another beautiful destination, located close to Beijing. The flight there only lasts fifty minutes. The air carries a salty scent, and the streets are clean and lined with trees and flowers. The city features many European and Japanese-style buildings, some with fountains. People were flying kites and strolling in these areas. We visited the beach, where the water was blue and many people were swimming. I lay on the sand, gazing at the sky. Dalian seems like a wonderful place to live. Hulunbuir is located in Inner Mongolia and is famous for its vast, endless grasslands under a bright blue sky. You can see many horses and sheep running or grazing there. I even rode a horse across the grass and collected colorful flowers. We drank milk tea together. There was also a small desert nearby. It was very hot to walk on the sand, which seemed to sing under my feet. These trips broadened my horizons, and I truly enjoyed my time.
