After a three-hour train ride, I finally arrived in Nanning, the capital of our province and a green city in southern China. The trip was quite exhausting. I met Mrs. Long, who then guided me through the downtown area, visiting places like Walmart, Xingning Pedestrian Street, and the Bund. On the street, there was a vending machine providing free drinking water for passersby. My hometown has similar machines, but people often used the water to wash their hands, which damaged them. In contrast, Nanning residents strictly protect public property. When a young boy tried to wash his hands, his mother stopped him right away, saying, “You shouldn’t use this water for washing hands; it’s for drinking.” In the evening, I walked to see the Guangxi People’s Hall and the Muzhida Shopping Mall. The next day, I rode a bike to the Langdong New District, where the Nanning International Exhibition Center is located, built for the CAEXPO. My bike broke down on the way back, but a student from Guangxi University kindly gave me a ride. On my final day, I woke up early and went to Qingxiu Mountain Park. There, I admired the beautiful scenery and prayed to the Buddha statues for my future.

My Holiday The National Day holiday was full of joy. About nine days ago, my parents and I flew to Shanghai. I had always imagined Shanghai as a huge city filled with numerous skyscrapers. Upon arrival, we checked into the "Chuangye" Hotel. That evening, we caught a glimpse of the towering Shanghai TV Tower before returning to our room around nine o'clock. The next day, we visited the beautiful town of Zhouzhuang. The air there was fresh and pleasant. I also bought my favorite toys, which are weapon sets. I was extremely fond of them. The local food was quite delicious. Although we felt both happy and exhausted that day, we went to bed early. On the third day, we decided to relax and didn't go out anywhere. We simply stayed in the hotel until late afternoon. In the evening, we took a flight back to Tianjin. This trip was truly wonderful!
