Christmas Day is very popular around the world, which originated in western countries, but now it is celebrated by the world. When this big day comes, there will be a lot of products that are old in very low prices, and the Santa Claus's image will be seen all over the street. Shops will play Christmas songs. I always spend this festival with my friends, because my parents don't take this day seriously. We hang out on the street and join the big crowd in the square, singing with people and then wait for the time to count down. It is such a great moment for me. I can feel the lively atmosphere, like the New Year. On the way home, we share our wishes and talk about the happy incidents. Christmas activity brings me unforgettable memories.

Christmas is an annual festival in the western world that is one of the most important festivals for them. Previously, only western European Christians celebrated it. But in recent years, more and more Chinese people celebrate it, especially among young people. There are many activities on that day. I think there are the following reasons that make Christmas popular in China. First, it's a western holiday and it's new to Chinese. Second, with the development of the world, the mutual influence between China and the west makes it work. Last, the merchants make great contribution to its popularity.

Christmas Day is on December 25th. It originated in the western country, but today, this festival has been celebrated by the world. For the manufacturers, they are very happy to make this day as a shopping day. I enjoy the great atmosphere. I had a very special Christmas day last year. I experienced the western style festival. There was a new foreign teacher who taught us the lesson. She was about 50 years old and she was very kind and we all liked her. On Christmas Day, she brought us the desserts she made early in the morning. We enjoyed the home-made cakes. What's more, she invited us to come to her house and spent the day with her. Then for the first time, I ate big turkey, which was so delicious. The turkey was filled with many stuffs and the flavor was so good. After dinner, we sang songs and danced. Thanks to my foreign teacher, I experienced the American style festival. It was such fun for me. Though today many people enjoy shopping in all kinds of festivals, the meaning of these festivals should be remembered.

In most Western nations, Christmas stands as the grandest holiday, granting everyone a lengthy break much like the Spring Festival in China. Thanks to globalization, this celebration has spread globally. On this day, festive trees decorate many stores, and various items are offered at significant price cuts. A key reason people adore Christmas is the chance to save money through these discounts. For Americans, it serves as a special occasion for family reunions and bonding, whereas others simply view it as an ideal day for shopping.
