The winter break lasted from January 16th to February 7th. I believe everyone did many things during this holiday, but I didn’t. Let me share my winter holiday story with you.
I spent a lot of time on homework. Every day during the break, I always woke up late. Then I listened to the tape; it was already nine o’clock. After that, I had breakfast and then did my homework during the day! I’m not very slow, but the homework was too heavy!
I’m worried and feel unlucky about my weight. Last term, I was 48 kilograms, but now I am 51 kilograms! I must lose weight!
But most importantly, I went to the Shanghai Ocean Aquarium. I really wanted to go there because I wanted to see the horses, monkeys, and other animals. Now I’ve done it. It was a bright spot in my winter holiday.

My winter vacation was quite fascinating. Upon returning to my hometown, my cousins and I went skiing together. My skiing skills were poor, and I fell fifteen times. They laughed at me behind my back, but I couldn’t help smiling too.
The Spring Festival was the happiest day. We first enjoyed a meal full of delicious food at the table, which made me very glad. Then we set off fireworks. The children waved light sticks while watching the adults play with fireworks. It was so beautiful, like stars raining down on the world. Finally, it was time to receive red envelopes.
